The compilation of existing information, base materials
and available data used in the design process. Typical information
may include property line boundaries, locations of adjacent roadways
and access points, elevation topography and aerial photographs.
For illustrative purposes this information can be obtained from
County Tax Maps, United States Geological Survey (USGS) maps
and County Land Records; for accuracy, permitting and construction
a survey firm can perform precise documentation of the property
line boundary and develop elevation topography using aerial photography
or field data. CDS will coordinate with the surveyor and modify
the provided information as required to create a base plan.
